The service

transit.bg is an informational service that shows public transport timetables, real-time information, service alerts and journey plans in Bulgaria. It is not a transport operator, does not sell tickets and does not act on behalf of any operator or authority.

Accuracy of the information

The transport data comes from the operators' published feeds; transit.bg only tidies names and formats for display. Timetables can change at short notice, real-time predictions can be wrong, and some services, stops or disruptions may be missing.

Always allow for this, especially for important journeys and connections. The official information of the respective operator takes precedence over anything shown on transit.bg. The disclaimer explains the limits of the information in more detail.

No warranty, limitation of liability

transit.bg is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness or uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, transit.bg is not liable for any direct or indirect loss resulting from the use of the information, such as a missed connection, or from the service being unavailable.

Acceptable use

You may use transit.bg freely for personal and professional travel planning, and share links to any of its pages. Please do not:

• scrape the site or its data and address-search services in bulk, or use those services automatically outside the site itself;
• place an unreasonable load on the servers or try to circumvent security measures;
• present transit.bg content as official operator information or as your own service.

If you need the underlying transport data, use the operators' open data at the source, under the operators' terms.

Intellectual property and licences

The design, code and texts of transit.bg belong to transit.bg. The transport data belongs to the respective operators and is used under their terms.

Links to other sites

transit.bg may link to operators and other sites. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Changes

We may change the service or these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update. Continuing to use transit.bg after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. Disputes are settled by the competent Bulgarian courts, without prejudice to the mandatory rights you have as a consumer. If the Bulgarian and English versions differ, the Bulgarian version prevails.
